ROYAL MOUNTAIN RANGE
Conquer your first six-thousander in the Bolivian Andes
This program is designed for mountaineers who prefer less-crowded mountains and are looking to climb more 6,000-meter peaks in the majestic Bolivian Andes. Through a gradual acclimatization process, we will explore remote locations in the Andes, soaking up its beauty.
Day 1: Welcome to La Paz – Exploring the highest city in the world
Enjoy La Paz (3,650 meters above sea level), one of the most impressive cities in South America. This day is dedicated to relaxing and gradually preparing for our expedition with a city tour by cable car, exploring its viewpoints and markets full of culture and tradition, and sampling the wonderful cuisine.
Day 2: Palca Canyon and Muela del Diablo
We begin with some low-intensity physical activity, hiking on wonderful trails near the city, where we'll experience impressive landscapes and formations.


Day 3: Isla del Sol
Our acclimatization continues on the wonderful Lake Titicaca, where we will also spend the night on the magical Isla del Sol, enjoying unparalleled scenery.
Day 4: Lake Titicaca - Peñas
After a hike north across the island, we sail to Chuquiñapi and continue our journey to Peñas, where we can take a short hike to enjoy the views and spend the night.
Day 5: Chacaltaya - Charkini
We enjoy a magical sunrise over Lake Titicaca before exploring the island and its Inca trails. We return to La Paz with free time to rest and prepare for the next stage of the adventure.
Day 6: Ice Climbing and Glacier Practice
After a rest at 4,700 meters above sea level, our journey continues with a day on the old glacier of Huayna Potosi, to learn/refresh how to use a rope on the glacier, try some ice climbing, and check all our equipment.
Day 7: Trekking to the West Face
Continuing our acclimatization, we hike to Laguna Esperanza, near the west face of Huayna Potosi.
Day 8: Laguna Chiarkota
The trek continues to base camp in the Condoriri Valley, where we will spend the night and enjoy some very special landscapes.


Day 9: Austria Peak - Jurikhota
Ascent to Austria Peak (5,350 meters above sea level), a prime location for photographing the mountain range, and descent to the Ventanani Glacier and its lagoon. Vehicle transfer from Jurikhota Lagoon to Carmen Cruz Pampa.
Day 10: Chachacomani High Camp
We prepare for our first glacier summit in Chachacomani, with a hike through a bofedal (wetland) and subsequent ascent to Chachacomani High Camp.
Day 11: Chachacomani
Ascent to and summit of Chachacomani (6,080 meters above sea level). Return to High Camp for the night.
Day 12: Chearoco High Camp
We begin the trek to Chearoco Base Camp to prepare for the next important summit of the expedition.
Day 13: Chearoco
We ascend to the summit of Chearoco (6,130 meters above sea level) and celebrate all the summits reached. We descend and spend the night at Chearoco High Camp.
Day 14: Return to La Paz
We descend to the vehicle and return to the city for dinner to conclude the expedition.
