Explore Bolivia from the skies on an unforgettable journey over valleys, mountains, volcanoes, and rainforest.
Experience absolute freedom as you soar over the most iconic landscapes of western Bolivia. For 15 days, you'll explore spectacular paragliding sites, enjoying ideal conditions, breathtaking views, and the magic of Bolivian nature. The itinerary is flexible and will be adjusted based on weather conditions to ensure the best possible experience.
Day 1: Flying Over the Valleys of La Paz
With over 350 flyable days a year, the southern valley of La Paz offers perfect conditions for your first taste of Andean air. Enjoy a panoramic flight surrounded by towering mountains and high-altitude deserts.
Day 2: Sorata – Between Glaciers and Deep Valleys
Nestled at the foot of the mighty Illampu, this flight takes you over glacial lakes and lush green valleys, offering one of Bolivia’s most spectacular flying experiences.
Day 3: Lake Titicaca – Ancestral Energy from the Sky
Visit the Sleeping Dragon before sailing to the mystical Isla del Sol. Experience a dynamic flight over the world’s highest navigable lake, with the Royal Andes as a stunning backdrop.
Day 5: Isla del Sol and Sorata
Morning flight to Isla del Sol and boat trip to the Sleeping Dragon (Illampu) and transfer to Sorata.
Day 6: Sorata
Fly at the foot of the majestic Illampu and be amazed by the contrast between the 6,000-meter peaks and the jungle at the end of the valley. Return to La Paz.
Day 7: Coroico – From the Altiplano to the Jungle
Fly from the summit at 5,000 meters above sea level, landing at La Rinconada at 4,100 meters. Continue descending to 1,200 meters above sea level and then enjoy a dynamic flight over Coroico at 1,700 meters above sea level, with a tropical climate and lush views.
(Optional: Combine with a downhill bike ride on the Death Road).
Day 7: Huayna Potosí & the Royal Andes – Flying at High Altitudes
Head to the Cordillera Real for an epic flight from over 5,000m. The vastness of the Andes and the Altiplano stretches beneath you, offering a prime location for distance flights.
Day 8: Pazña & Salar de Uyuni – Freedom Over the Endless Flats
Take off from the vast plains of the Altiplano at 3,800m, with perfect conditions for long-distance flights over Bolivia’s surreal landscapes.
Day 9: Thunupa Volcano & Salar de Uyuni – A Flight Over Another Planet
Hike to the crater of Thunupa Volcano for a once-in-a-lifetime flight over the otherworldly expanse of the Salar de Uyuni. Later, explore the wonders of the salt flat.
Day 11: Visit the Salar de Uyuni
with the possibility of a dynamic flight on Thunupa at sunset, conditions permitting. Overnight on the northern shore of the salt flats.
Day 12: Thunupa
We ascend to the crater of the Thunupa Volcano for a flight with the majestic Salar de Uyuni stretching out below us. If conditions allow, we will fly closer to the main road to shorten the following day's journey.
Day 13: Pazña and Road Trip to Sajama
On the way to Sajama, a long day of driving, with the possibility of exploring flying on the plains at Calapaya. Overnight in the town of Sajama.
Day 14: Acotango
To end the trip in style, take an epic hike and fly from the Acotango Volcano (6,050 m) with great potential for cross-country skiing.
